Tired of the injonction of celebrating heternormative love with gifts, flowers and chocolate? Us too! On 14 February, we reclaim Valentine’s Day and make it a feminist counter-celebration. Join us for some love letter writing!

Take the time to celebrate the awesome people in your life. Tell them why they inspire you and what makes them special. Write a letter to your favorite feminist, your role-model, your life hero – be it Simone de Beauvoir, your best friend or your mom.

We will provide papers and pens – all you have to do is bring your love and creativity ♥ ♥ ♥

And instead of spending money in an overpriced restaurant, you can support the Boom Café by sipping local tea, fair trade juice or solidarity beers.
